Mutiat Adebanke BALOGUN is a Professor in the Department of Home Economics and Food Science, Faculty of Agriculture, with almost two decades in teaching, research and administrative experience in the University of Ilorin. She has served as Level adviser, Postgraduate Coordinator, Head of Department and Sub Dean of the Faculty. Her areas of research interest include Food Microbiology, Biotechnology and Product Development. She has to her credit over sixty publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in books. She has successfully supervised over eleven Masters dissertations and ninety undergraduate projects. She collaborated with other researchers to win two research grants. She has attended several international and local conferences, workshops, seminars and trainings. Prof. Mutiat Adebanke Balogun is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
