Biography

Dr. Abimbola Kemisola ARISE has been a senior lecturer in the Department of Home Economics and Food Science at the University of Ilorin since 2011. She has served as a level adviser, seminar coordinator, as well as project coordinator in the Department. She is a recipient of several awards/scholarships including the Mwalimu Nyerere African Union Scholarship Award, National Research Foundation Scholar, Travel Grants for Student Exchange Scholarship and Best Graduating Student, Department of Food Science and Technology, Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. She is a specialist in Food Chemistry and Proteomics. She has attended several international and local conferences, workshops, seminars, and trainings. She has successfully supervised several undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has over fifty publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings, and chapters in books. She is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
