Biography

Mrs. SALAMI Khadijat Onozare obtained a B.Sc. in Food Science and Technology from Kogi State University, Ayingba, and won the prize of Best graduating student in the Department of Food, Nutrition, and Home Sciences. She had two Master’s degrees in Food Technology (2015) and Food Science (2019) from the Universities of Ibadan and Ilorin, respectively.
She joined the service of the University of Ilorin in 2011 as a Graduate Assistant and is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Home Economics and Food Science, specializing in the Processing and Preservation of food. She held several administrative positions including SIWES coordinator and level adviser. She has attended several local conferences, workshops, seminars, and training. She is a member of the Nigerian Women in Agricultural Research and Development (NiWARD), and the Nigerian Society for Experimental Biology (NISEB), among others. She has published articles in several reputable local and international journals.
